Forensics This Year

At the end of the year I can’t help but reflect on the wide variety of Forensic Accounting cases I have worked on during 2015. I find that lack of checks and balances, segregation of duties, and oversight at the victim company is a recurring trend in all of the employee embezzlement fraud cases this year. Next year, please consider this and possibly take steps to re-evaluate and protect your assets.

At this time, I’d like to wish you all HAPPY HOLIDAYS! I hope you make time for family and friends during this holiday season and put the to-do list away. I always find spending time with friends and family gives me renewed energy.

Thank you for your relationships and I hope to connect again soon. I appreciate the feedback on the blog in its inaugural year and all of your help in making this a successful endeavor. I wish you a healthy, prosperous, and Happy New Year.
